Stourbridge band Midas went into the UK Indie singles charts at number 3 (Number 59 in the official singles chart) this week after releasing their single 'Don't Dance'.

After winning the Battle of the Fort, Midas were signed to Melting Ice Management. They then recorded their single at Magic Garden Studio with highly esteemed producer Gavin Monaghan (Editors, Nizlopi, The Twang) and after a few months of hard work, the single was released with fantastic results.

The band made the song available for download on indiestores.com, iTunes, Wippit, HMV Digital, Telegraph Music, Virgin Digital, TuneTribe and got distributed through Fopp, HMV and Swordfish stores.
