Background
Made up of four mates from Sutton Coldfield in Birmingham, Daddy Delux took shape in the summer of 2003 when pathetically limp bands ruled the airwaves and thousands of bored and disillusioned women wandered the streets. Daddy Delux became a reaction to all things bland and miserable; the saviour of womankind and thus, the concept of Pimprock was born........
Musical influences range from Led Zeppelin and Rolling Stones through to Guns 'n' Roses and Kings of Leon.
Live
In three years, Daddy Delux have conquered the Birmingham live circuit with regular gigs all over the region. Venues include: The Jug of Ale, The Flapper & Firkin, The Sheldon Marque and Bar Academy. They have also won a regional battle of the bands, played at the Aston University May Ball, and have appeared live on Radio WM and Kerrang.

Review of 'Faster Penelope, Kill, Kill, Kill' off Sugar Riot by Jack Sprat Records
"The lone guitar and vocal verses are interspersed with an almost 'stones like riff. Best described as a blues track on steroids, the vocal style and the harmonies in the choruses, maintain interest through to the simple but oh so effective bass and guitar solo. A vocal and instrumental crescendo take us to the end of this superb track."
Review of Pimprock by DNA Promotions
"Daddy Delux have come up with a storming debut with 'Pimprock'. It's nice to
hear a proper/traditional rock CD for a change that harks back to when rock was
rock. With more than a hint of Zeppelin, Delux tear through these five tracks with reckless abandon. And the best thing about these boys is that they're even better live!"
