A new era is dawning at Cox's Yard in Stratford with its long awaited re-launch and a packed programme of autumn and winter events.
The devastating July flood damage has been the catalyst for a complete rejuvenation and the waterfront entertainment complex re-opens on 9th October. There is a new bar and sound system and the whole site has been refitted. The summer closure was a major blow for live music fans but cancelled events have now been rescheduled.
The grand re-opening features Simon Fowler and Oscar Harrison of Ocean Colour Scene. Chris Farlowe, whose seminal Handbags and Gladrags re-entered the public psyche as the theme for The Office is on Friday 12th October. On Saturday 13th, AC/DC tribute Hells Bells return to South Warwickshire. Heavy metal fans were last able to see them at August's biker festival the Bulldog Bash.

Cox's Yard has built a reputation as Stratford's premier live music venue. Snow Patrol, The Enemy, Midge Ure and Fairport Convention are among the many to have graced its stage. The remainder of 2007 carries on the tradition of hosting big music industry names. Sam Brown, who topped the charts with Stop, is playing Saturday 20th October and Dutch art rockers Focus on Tuesday 20th November.
