Pickled Dick are a three-piece rock/punk/pop musical outfit, and have been compared to a mix of early Green Day with the vocal stylings of The Beach Boys.
The three members live in three different parts of England! Chesterfield, Wolverhampton and West Liss.
They have two official releases - the debut fourteen track album 'Panda-Moanium' (2005) and a six-track EP 'Exercise Your Demons' (2006). Both discs were recorded by Peter Miles (Captain Everything!, Howards Alias, King Blues) and released by their own label Don't Rush Me Records.
Pickled Dick is a sh*t name for a band, but then again so is Papa Roach. Puddle Of Mudd isn't great either.
Pickled Dick has played over 500 shows in the U.K. & Mainland Europe since they formed in 2000. They have toured with such bands as Sonic Boom Six, Adequate 7, Captain Everything, The Fight, Jesse James, Lightyear & Mybe. They have also performed at the Guilford Festival & Waster/Rebellion Festival in Blackpool and Amsterdam. Pickled Dick supported Me First & The Gimme Gimmes on their U.K. tour in 2007, playing such venues as the London Forum and the Carling Academy's in Birmingham & Newcastle. They then followed it up with their own headline tour in August 2007, including topping the bill at the Camden Underworld.
Pickled Dick have also been featured in both Metal Hammer and Big Cheese magazines, with a track included on their front cover CD's.
They won the Jagermeister national songwriting competition in 2007, and the track will be featured in the forthcoming Jagermeister advertising campaign.
