On the 30th of August your favourite Irish pub is doing what it does best - putting on live music for your lovely ear drums!
Come down around midday to see all the following bands, and many more!
Jess Jones
Having seen Jess play at gigs throughout the midlands since she was aged 11, I can honestly say there is no faulting her talent. Coming from a musical family, you would think she has been stifled by her siblings contribution to the music scene, but it appears she has just risen to the challenge. With her up tempo acousticy beats and catchy lyrics, you would be a fool to miss this girl. With radio appearances and playing festivals throughout the country such as Rock the Castle her confidence is growing in leaps and bounds, and this shows in her music and performances. Jess is truly an up and coming talent in the local music scene.
The Hoop Group
Welcome to The Hoop Group. A band who, in a time when most music seems to be very much the same, are very different. Formed in March 2007 the three piece are already being billed as ones to watch on the Birmingham music scene. The Hoop Group have a rock sound that is already attracting attention around the country. Fresh from appearing in front of hundreds of thousands on BBC 1, The Hoop Group have their first official demo to launch and a UK tour on the horizon.

The Stourbridge News
The Dead Ends
Impressive drums, strong baselines and Pete Doherty style vocals make up the Dead Ends edgey, new age sound. They absolutely have to be seen to be believed, and having witnessed their energetic performance I have to say, it is completely unique. The Dead Ends work so well as a trio it is hard to believe that their singer is also "Mr Owens" - quite a legend in the midlands music scene. Judging by the all-dayer in the park back in May, these guys sure know how to bring in a crowd.
Craig Herbert
What can I possibly say about Craig, his music knows no bounds. His beautifuly thought out lyrics that touch everyones hearts and minds have you singing in your head for days on end. I am yet to meet someone who doesn't relate to his music in every way. He is pure untapped talent from the unlikely town of good music that is Stourbridge. Talent, far beyond his years. When teamed with Dave Halama, Dave Hingley and 'Dub' to form "Bad Weather Party" he is unstoppable.
Dan Haynes
With enchanting vocals and calming melodies, he is responsible for some of the freshest acoustic music I have ever heard. If you like Jack Johnson or Damien Rice, you will truly love Dan Haynes. His music escalates and enraptures you, making you feel like a child again. It is delicate yet haunting, it is soft yet so strong. It is simply beautiful.
