Having recently returned from a tour of New Jersey and New York where they were lucky enough to play at the legendary Stone Pony - NJ, local band Acacia have signed to appear in the Movie Johnny Postal.
Directed by Sundance Award winner Frank M. Calo and starring names such as Debbie Harry (Blondie), Roger Sanchez and reading for parts at the moment are Natalie Portman and Steve Buscemi. The band will also have 2 songs on the movie soundtrack through Atlantic records.
Other plans for the band include a four month tour of the States starting in Spring next year, talks with a number of American record labels, one of which Bulldog Evans records, the band got to meet with in New York and meetings with the C.E.O of another label coming over from the States to watch them at a British show.
