Weak13 is the stage name of Nick Townsend. A British song writer who has slowly become one of the biggest names in underground music. A very hard working musician that uses music to make people listen. He created weak13 just thirteen weeks before the millenium. Nearly all of 'Nick Townsend's' music heroes had either died, overdosed, been murdered or ceased to exist by this date and something had to be done. The answer was form a band called Weak13 that would continue to play music highly inspired by some of the greatest bands, lryicists and riff writers on the planet, but to only exist for 13 years starting from the milenium. The concept means taking time with songs and making sure that every weak13 song written has a theme and a quality that makes the song unique, but also sound like only 1 band. Weak13. Nick had to search for musicians great enough to undertake the task of joining WEAK13. To date there have been 27 collaberations between Nick and other musicians including: 'Melo DJ', Neutron Tears', Rob Llyod' (OMRI OPERA), 'Luke Johnson (AMEN), 'Syco' (KILL JOHNNY ROCKSTAR), 'Cyical' (DESI UNDERGROUND), 'Jim Taylor' (HATTORI HANZO), 'John Keen' (LIGHTHOUSE FAMILY), 'Morph' (OTIS COYOTE) By 2012AD the band will be a complete picture of 20th Century music and act as a template to inspire the 21st century. WEAK13 IS NICK TOWNSEND, a self taught musician that belives in a nicer evil for the greater good. Inspired by his surroundings, Weak13 has played with 'Strapping Young Lad', 'Skindred', played over 500 Live performances, been responsible for creating BIG foundations in the West Midlands music scene (uk).
