New album Adventure Stories heralds a triumphant return for Liverpool 4-piece 28 Costumes. Back stronger than ever with new drummer Alastair with songs full of off-kilter guitar pop, flavoured with their love of The Wedding Present, Pulp, Pavement, The Pixies, The Beach Boys and a fat juggernaut full of other people’s music. The album sees the band develop the eclecticticity of their 2004 debut The Fake Death Experience, with the maturity gained from a punishing touring schedule that has seen them clock up lots of road/air/ferry miles throughout the UK and Europe. New single from that album 'Inside/Outside' is out on 6th March. They'll be performing that plus other new songs live in session on Janice Longs' Radio 2 show on 12:20am Friday 3rd February.
