In the summer of 2005 three musicians got together to soundtrack what happened when they dropped their guard to let out a scream of consciousness, and Battle for Prague were born.
Their music explores the subtle gaps between who we are, and who we think we are, sometimes uplifting, sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes illuminating, their sound is often compared to bands such as Bloc Party, Arcade Fire and Clap your hands say yeah!
Battle for Prague are Greg (guitar/vocals), Sara (drums/vocals) and Tom (bass), they have already made an impression on the Birmingham scene, playing gigs at Bar Academy, Barfly, The Jug of Ale, The Flapper and Firkin, and Club NME with Pop Levi.
Their recently cut demo CD includes live favorites 'Car/Plane/Boat' and 'They're All The Same', as well as their epic tragedy 'Broken Hearts on the Concrete'.
