ShurFire are a 4 piece band based in the Midlands area. The band formed in 2003 when guitarist Nick Banford met Richard Woodhouse in guitar lessons after school, after jamming together they enlisted friends Chris Bracknall and Simon Head to play bass and drums and began practicing as the band then known as Solution 86. After spending the whole of 6th form writing songs and playing some small gigs the band seemed to dissapear, with simon no longer playing drums the band grew tired of searching and trying out new drummers, so for a while they were making no noise. But in late 2005 Chris decided he missed the old band and introduced Ritch and Nick to a new drummer Dan Broomhall. The band now took on their new name ShurFire and Dan was instantly part of the team. The band have been relentlessly practicing and writing since then in order to get themselves noticed.
