The Hamsters
Over 3,500 concerts, 19 years together, a mailing list exceeding 20,000 and a website which receives 1,000 visitors a day: the guitar, bass and drums trio The Hamsters (the band's name being taken from the Sex Pistols, who used it when they performed secret concerts) have long been established as our premier Blues-Rock attraction. Although serious about what they do, they don’t take themselves seriously. The audience always comes first with The Hamsters, and they have built their considerable live following and reputation on a conviction that the fans had better go home having had a good time - or else.
