Born in the sleepy commuter town of Harpenden, Herts, 'Aconite Thrill' came to being during the summer of 2001, formed inauspiciously from the ashes of previous projects - much like every other band. They had found music becoming a little unchallenging and planned to start afresh and make music better than they ever had before. So the band, including the newly acquainted foreigner - Will J of Watford on vocals, began to play in ways that they had never done so before. By pushing their playing skills to new places, they learnt much about themselves and each other.
