A brand new band with a sublime pedigree, Long Day Gone has the sounds and looks to start a new chapter in Britains music industry. Their set is truly outstanding showing off their song writing talents having the depth and character to blow the mind away with hard hitting, high octane sounds, and chill the listener with powerful melodic ballads. Descending from a long bloodline of musical inspirations, LDG roots lie amongst the sounds of the Foo Fighters, Led Zeppelin, Queen, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers. These influences entwine together to produce LDGs distinctive sound. LDG began life in 2005 and have recorded twice already. Their current promo tracks were recorded at The Magic Garden, by Gavin Monaghan whose credits include Editors, Nizlopi, Lost In Translation OST, to name but a few. The quality of their recordings is matched by experiencing their live show. Long Day Gone have already played some of Birminghams top venues already this year and their status is set to grow with upcoming appearances supporting Breaks Co-Op and performing at a televised gig at the BarFly, Birmingham at the end of May.
