We are Insurgent. Formed in the winter of 2018, we set out to write new and exciting heavy metal music that aims to change the Birmingham music scene. We are a female-fronted 4 - piece band with Katie Teitge on vocals, Joe Rowley on guitar, Jake Brettle on bass and Mike Tabone on drums.
Heavily influenced by modern rock and metal giants Alter Bridge, Slipknot, August Burns Red and Periphery, we make sure to always bring something new to the table with our music, and with our first single coming Summer 2019 , you can expect to hear a lot more from us very soon.
