Trafficker

Trafficker ( Feat. Tommy Allen )

“Original and inspired retro rock and blues, Trafficker’s music will take you beyond the misty crossroads of the delta and lead you right back to the true romance of British rock and roll. “

Formed in 2000 by singer, songwriter and guitar wizard Tommy Allen, Trafficker have developed their own unique sound. Tommy’s fifteen year career has been a musical rollercoaster of blues, rock, pop and other genres all which have influenced his writing and playing on the way. The band has seen many changes; not so much in style but in maturity. They have developed from an impulsive blues band to a finely tuned engine. Trafficker is a power trio which gives all three equally talented musicians the chance to play and work with the dynamics of the song, with a freshness of space for the guitar to develop and drive a melody. Recent rewards for Traffickers hard work have included:
Channel 4s Pop World session also two sessions on the Paul Jones BBC Radio 2 Blues Show, airplay from British and international radio stations and support slots with Walter Trout, Otis Grand, and Simon Kirk. Their popularity in Europe is also increasing, and at least two international tours are planned for the coming year. Trafficker define raw urban retro rock. They couldn’t be further away from today’s manufactured music, and the enduring popularity of their inspirations, Cream, Free and the Rolling Stones, is surely what Traffickers future holds.

'Awesome……..this band really rocks' Walter Trout
“One of the finest blues bands in the country" Blues In Britain
“ Tommy Allen is one of the most talented songwriter / guitarists to emerge from Britain in a long time “ Paul Jones BBC Radio 2
