Henry Tudor House

Henry Tudor House is an excellent live music venue, which also happens to be a restaurant and bar located in one of the most historic half-timbered buildings in Shrewsbury, believed to be the place where a beleaguered Henry Tudor sought refuge on his way to the Battle of Bosworth in 1485. In the ground floor bar, customers can try a selection of carefully chosen wines and beers. The first floor restaurant offers a range of dishes, including hearty stews, delicate souffles, creamy risottos and perfectly seared steaks. A luxurious private dining room, vaulted function room and magnificent big room are also available and ideal for special occasions.

Henry Tudor House can be found in Barracks Passage which is at the top of Wyle Cop. The entrance to Barracks Passage is between ‘The Chocolate Gourmet’ and ‘Snooty Fox’. The nearest all night parking is at St Julian’s Car Park, St Julian’s Friars, Shrewsbury SY1 1XL.
