Feature

The Dutch violinist Noa Wildschut is only 18 years old, but she’s already one of the most engaging violinists of her generation. Her choice of Tchaikovsky’s Souvenir and Prokofiev’s playful, elusive Second Sonata suggests that she has something wholly individual to say. But for this showcase recital as part of the Europe-wide ECHO Rising Stars series, she’ll also perform something brand new, written specially for her by the gleefully eclectic young Dutch composer Joey Roukens.
